About

Creating wearable art from mixed materials and techniques is a culmination of my broad background in craft methods and found object assemblage. The glass, paper, fiber and metal jewelry draws on my past work with metalsmithing, stained glass and textiles. I began my studies in craft media at Skidmore College, and since receiving my MFA with a focus in fibers from the University of Washington-Seattle in 1999 my work has evolved from interactive sculpture and found object assemblage to jewelry. I feel this medium provides a unique opportunity for interaction and exposure to a collage of images, techniques and wearable forms.
